Dr. Susumu Miyazaki has a PhD from Osaka University in inorganic and physical chemistry and many years of experience in developing materials for the display industry.
Before joining Sumation, he was responsible for the development of inorganic phosphors for plasma displays and colour filters for LCDs at Sumitomo Chemical's Tsukuba Research Laboratory.
During the period from 2003 to 2004, he was a visiting professor at Kochi University teaching material sciences. Prior to that, he spent two years as a visiting research associate at the MR laboratory of the Pennsylvania State University, USA.
